LightCo Proudly Sponsors the 2026 NZ Interior Awards

Recognising the designers and projects shaping the future of New Zealand interiors, the NZ Interior Awards bring together the country's interior design industry to celebrate excellence, innovation and creativity.

As an Official Awards Sponsor, LightCo supported this year's programme by presenting the Retail Award and introducing the inaugural Luminance Award – recognising the project where lighting most meaningfully transforms the experience of a space.

Congratulations to Wonder for Aotea at Auckland Airport, recipient of the Retail Award, recognised for its considered and innovative approach to retail design.

Congratulations also to February for Majangdong 1946, recipient of the inaugural Luminance Award. Selected by the judging panel from across all finalists, the award celebrates the project that best demonstrates lighting's ability to shape atmosphere, enhance functionality and transform the experience of a space.

As part of the award, the lead designer from February will join LightCo as special guests at Saturday Indesign Sydney 2026, continuing the exchange of ideas between the Australian and New Zealand design communities.
