Saturday Indesign 2025: Melbourne

Thank you to all who joined us for a day of design delight

We were thrilled to open the doors to our Melbourne showroom on Saturday, 6th September, for a day of inspiration, connection, and design discovery.

Nestled in the heart of a vibrant design precinct and surrounded by fellow Saturday Indesign participants, our showroom was alive with creativity and conversation.

Guests joined us as we showcased our world-class lighting brands through two unmissable experiences – beginning with an energising morning of live music, barista-made coffee, and fresh pastries, and closing with a golden afternoon of fine wine, artisan cheese by That’s Amore, and a DJ–saxophone set.

It was wonderful to welcome both familiar faces and new friends into our space throughout the day. From leading industry professionals to passionate design enthusiasts, the sense of community and shared creativity was inspiring.

Take a look at some of the day’s highlights

Our Contribution to the Design Passport Prize

LightCo is proud to contribute the Pivotante à Poser Table Lamp in Blue by Nemo to the Design Passport Prize.

Designed in the 1950s by Charlotte Perriand, this iconic piece is characterised by its cylindrical form and rotating diffusers, which allow light to be modulated with sculptural intent. Two curved metal shades pivot to create direct or indirect illumination, offering versatility across settings – from bedside tables to shelving or workspaces.

Pivotante à Poser balances modernist simplicity with playful adaptability, remaining as relevant today as when it was first conceived.
