This month, we exhibited at New Zealand Design Week, joining the programme at the Design Depot in Shed 10 on Auckland’s waterfront.
The event has grown into a nationally recognised celebration of design, bringing together exhibitions, talks and installations across the creative community. The 2026 theme, People + Place, explored how design shapes the way we live, work and connect - from indigenous knowledge and material traditions to contemporary design practice.
At the Design Depot, visitors were invited to explore a curated selection of LightCo's collections, experiencing the materiality, scale and presence of the pieces in person.
Across the Public and Pro days, the stand became a place for connection and conversation, with designers, architects and visitors engaging in discussion around the role of lighting in interior and outdoor spaces.
Alongside the exhibition programme, the week featured talks, workshops, and a design conference that brought together local and international voices exploring the People + Place theme through culture, innovation, and the future of design.
Thank you to everyone who visited the stand over the three days, and to New Zealand Design Week for creating a platform that continues to celebrate the strength and diversity of design in Aotearoa New Zealand.
