The Dea Collection by Il Fanale explores the sculptural purity of the circle through a series of handcrafted lighting forms inspired by Mediterranean colour, movement, and materiality. Defined by concentric geometries and refined iron construction, the collection balances decorative presence with controlled, atmospheric illumination.

At the centre of the collection is the distinctive Marea finish, created through an artisanal burnishing process where iron is repeatedly immersed in a liquid solution and hand-finished layer by layer. The resulting surface shifts between warm coppery tones and cooler sea-inspired hues, evoking the movement of waves across the shoreline. This handcrafted technique ensures each piece carries a unique tonal depth and character.

Available in pendant and wall light variations, the collection uses light to reveal depth, texture, and movement within its sculptural forms. The pendant lights feature adjustable mono- or bi-emission illumination for greater flexibility, while the wall lights combine indirect background lighting with focused forward illumination to enhance their layered geometry.
