The Split Collection by Il Fanale explores the expressive relationship between light, shadow, and folded metal through a series of sculptural wall lights defined by strong geometry and material depth. Inspired by a single decisive fold in the metal surface, the collection transforms shadow into an active architectural element, creating compositions that shift with light and perspective.

Available in both circular and elongated forms, the collection introduces rhythm, contrast, and movement across interior spaces. The adjustable round wall light allows light and perspective to be freely modulated, while the linear wall lights create modular arrangements of solids and voids that enhance surrounding architecture through repetition and scale.

The Split Collection is available in Antique Iron, Coppered Iron, and Gradient Brass finishes, each bringing a distinct material expression to the design. The Antique Iron finish highlights the raw, handcrafted quality of the metal, where every tonal variation and subtle imperfection reflects the artisanal production process.

The new Coppered Iron finish introduces warmth and depth through a traditional burnishing process, allowing soft copper tones to emerge naturally from within the iron surface. Meanwhile, Gradient Brass creates a layered chromatic effect where burnt brass tones transition gradually across the metal, producing a tactile and atmospheric finish shaped by deliberate hand-finishing techniques.
