I started LightCo at the end of 2006 with a passion and inspiration to build a honest, design centric business.

The journey has been slow but steady with each year new milestones achieved, clients becoming friends, and the best part is watching the team grow both in size and capability. I could not be prouder of myself or those around me who have been the key to where and who we are today.

The Team

Collectively our team has incredibly vast and comprehensive experience within the lighting and design industry. With a range of technical, architectural and industrial design specialities, the team as a collective is well balanced, capable and motivated to assist and help develop one another’s skills regularly.

As our team continues to grow and evolve, a non-negotiable aspect of considering new applicants is to ensure the culture and camaraderie of the team remains and that anyone who joins will be a participant and not a spectator.

We are a group of amazing people, diverse in backgrounds but first and foremost a group of caring, considerate and simply beautiful humans!

Core Values


Every product sold through LightCo has been carefully considered and its quality is paramount to the company’s values.  As Managing Director Roy Doron puts it, we would not sell a single product that he would not install in his own daughters bedroom.


Our team, suppliers and products carry a high level of integrity. We would not sell a product that did not live up to its claims. We would not work with a supplier who did not provide us with what they promised. We would not promise you something we didn’t truly believe ourselves.


We respect each and every client and believe in treating all those around us the way we would like to be treated. This defines our Core value regarding Service.  We prefer to under-promise and over-deliver in every aspect of how we interact with our clients, suppliers and each other.


The sustainability in the product and service we offer focuses on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of the future. The sustainability in our business and people ensures that we are here today and here tomorrow. Long term views and goals are constantly considered to fulfil our current and future objectives.

New Zealand

LightCo has expanded to New Zealand. For our friends across the ditch, LightCo’s products are available in select lighting stores and will continue to be, but in addition, our longtime friend and lighting stalwart Richard Coombes will be operating our Kiwi division in Auckland.

Richard is well known and respected in the New Zealand lighting and design community. He has been working with LightCo’s products for many years and is passionate about the integrity of their design and quality. Like Australians, New Zealanders have a big appreciation for authentic and unique decorative lights, and we look forward to increasing the variety and availability in this market.

Plans for an LightCo Auckland showroom are in the works, in the meantime, Richard can come to you or consult virtually.
